Dr. Stewart Strange
Dr. C. Stewart Strange is originally from Raymond, MS, and grew up in a family of dentists. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Mississippi in 2008, and in 2012 obtained his D.M.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, where he received several awards for his achievements in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Since then, he has maintained a private practice in Jackson, MS, with his mother Dr. Paula Stewart, completing advanced surgical implant training and earning a fellowship in the International College of Oral Implantology. He is a member of Spear Education and is actively involved in the American Dental Association and the Mississippi Dental Association. Dr. Strange also serves on the political action committee board for the MDA.
Dr. Strange is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Cassi, and they have two children together. When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Strange enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing golf. He and his wife are active members of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Dr. Chandler Pleasant
Dr. Chandler Pleasant is a skilled and compassionate dentist with over a decade of experience in providing top-quality dental care to his patients. Dr. Pleasant attended Mississippi State University with honors and then went on to graduate with honors from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in 2012. He has completed numerous continuing education courses, including Endodontics, Cosmetics, and Implantology. Dr. Pleasant attended the Engel Institute of Implantology, where he gained expertise in implant dentistry.
Dr. Pleasant has been practicing in Brandon for 11 years and has developed a reputation for his passion for cosmetics and implants, with an emphasis on patient-centered care. He understands that every patient is unique and works closely with each one to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets their specific needs and goals.
In his personal life, Dr. Pleasant is happily married to Whitney for 13 years, and they have two wonderful children, Winston (9) and Caroline (6). When he is not working, Dr. Pleasant enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, hunting, and traveling.
Dr. Garrett Hall
Dr. Garrett Hall is a talented and accomplished dentist born and raised in Columbus, MS. He received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University in Finance and Biological Sciences, graduating in 2016. Dr. Hall went on to pursue his passion for dentistry and earned his dental degree from the UMMC School of Dentistry in 2022, where he received multiple awards for his outstanding skills and dedication to the field, including the "Dr. Chris Spraberry Memorial Award for Pre-clinical Skills" and the "Excellence in Prosthodontics Award from the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics."
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Hall has also completed advanced training in Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Botox, allowing him to provide his patients with comprehensive and personalized care.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, attending MSU sporting events, and traveling. Dr. Hall is happily married to Reagan, who is an Occupational Therapist.
Dr. Anna McVey
Dr. Anna McVey is a compassionate dentist who graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2012 and joined Mississippi Dental Center immediately after. A recipient of the award for High Achievement for Persons with Disabilities, her gentle spirit is evident daily as she engages with patients of all ages, providing highly personalized care to achieve the utmost standards of oral health, hygiene, and aesthetics. Dr. McVey is open to holistic approaches in treatment when possible and is trained in the rigors of western dental medicine.
Dr. McVey graduated from Jackson Preparatory School in 2003 and the University of Mississippi in 2007. Before dental school, she coached Cross Country and Track & Field at Jackson Preparatory School. Her parents, Drs. John and Emily McVey, are both medical professionals, and she is married to Micah Usry. They have two children and currently reside in Jackson, where they attend First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
Dr. Paula Stewart
Dr. Paula Stewart is a highly accomplished dentist who received her certificate of dental hygiene in 1981 from the University of Mississippi School of Health Related Professions. After practicing for fourteen years and having three children, she returned to the UMMC School of Dentistry where she graduated cum laude in 1995. She has since practiced dentistry for seventeen years as the sole practitioner, and in 2012, she relocated her practice to Highland Village in Jackson, MS, where she brought on her son, Dr. Stewart Strange, and Dr. Anna McVey to her new clinic Paula Stewart DMD & Associates Family Dental Center. The clinic was recognized as Best Dentist in 2013 and 2014 by “The Best of Jackson.”
Dr. Stewart is also an active member of many local, state, and national dental organizations, serving on numerous boards and committees. She served as the 139th Mississippi Dental Association President from 2014 to 2015, President of the Dental Chapter of the University Of Mississippi Alumni Association from 2007 to 2008, and has been a board member of various organizations such as The Mississippi Dental Association and The Mississippi Radiation Advisory Council. She has received numerous honors and awards for her leadership, academic excellence, and professionalism. Dr. Stewart is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a member of the Mississippi Dental Association, Mississippi Association of Women Dentists, American Association of Women Dentists, and American Dental Association. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, and spending time with her family, including her two grandchildren.
